Warburtons, Britain’s largest bakery brand and 2ndlargest FMCG brand, is leveraging UpClear’s BluePlanner solution to take its trade promotion management operating model to the next level.
Warburtons chose a SaaS/cloud-based system that could grow alongside its needs and demonstrate flexibility throughout the deployment phases and beyond. The solution had to be rapidly deployable, provide strong workflow management, integration capabilities, and allow for post-promotional analysis and external data integration.
The innovative BluePlanner was selected as an integrated Revenue Management solution that combines Sales Planning, Trade Promotion Management, Analytics, and Optimisation. It gives Key Account Managers maximum visibility on performance of their individual accounts, whilst consolidating information for Sales Management, Finance, Marketing or Supply Chain.
Relying on an agile methodology, UpClear deployed the system to pilot users in 5 weeks. The full deployment was completed 3 months after kick off, including integration with other Warburtons systems.
