As we enter a new season and a new planning cycle, we reflect on what an amazing year it has been for us at UpClear.
We recently celebrated our 6th consecutive year on the Inc 5000 list.
Here are other exciting announcements.
We have added 12 new clients this year, a record in number and in size. Most chose our solution based on thorough RFP selection processes last winter.
In North America, we have experienced our busiest year ever. This fall we are going live with all the following clients: Beyond Meat, Vita Coco, Utz Snacks, Pompeian Olive Oil, Ferrara Candy Company, Ferrero Canada, Perfetti Van Melle, Canada Bread as well as subsidiaries of large food companies.
We are also thrilled to expand in Mexico, going live this fall with Grupo Lala.
In Europe, we are progressing on a global deployment roadmap with Perfetti Van Melle (Russia, Spain, and Italy this year) and Intersnack Group. We are eager to get started on a multi-market rollout with a major beverage company.
In Asia-Pacific, we have expanded our Danone rollout in Australia / New Zealand and Malaysia this year. And we are getting ready for a deployment in China, Japan, Indonesia, Australia/NZ with a large global food company.
This is remarkable. We are thankful to all our clients for the trust they are giving us. It is an exciting inflection point in our growth, as we are now working on many multi-market engagements.
This fall we will be hosting and leading several events ahead of the new business planning cycle:
- UK user group on October 2nd in central London
- RGM Share Group seminar on October 3rd in central London
- Consumer Goods Sales Marketing, Revenue Management Share Group on October 12th in Boston
- US user group in December at our NYC office
All of this is happening thanks to an amazing and dedicated team, that I’m immensely proud of and grateful for. We have scaled up our organization this year, and will continue this winter. Earlier in September we celebrated our 50-employee headcount across our 4 offices in New York, London, Paris, and Hong-Kong! We now have 13 nationalities represented at UpClear, this brings diversity of perspective and supports our collaboration with our global clients.
This summer we ran a global treasure hunt competition across our 4 primary office locations in New York, London, Paris and Hong-Kong.
We continue to focus heavily on recruitment as well as organizational and personal development, with the right mix of experience and agility.
Our Paris office, which opened just last September 2018, already has 12 full-time team members and is becoming our main Engineering & Development center. Paris is a central location for our global business and a great place for Tech talent. We are planning to double this team in the coming month to develop our new software capabilities.
Next-generation software for Revenue Growth Management
With a solid global client foundation, we are now also able to project our software further. For the past 10 years, our focus has been on establishing a good Sales & Promotion Planning process for our clients. With that we deployed flexible and efficient data integration mechanisms.
With so much more data available, we are now ready to develop AI-based models, to support Revenue Management and predictive scenarios. To further develop these analytical capabilities, we are building our next generation ‘data insight team’.
