UpClear Expands Client Team in Japan and Mexico

Client success through expertise and market proximity has always been one critical factor of success for UpClearAs we expand our global deployments to multinational clients, some markets emerge as strategic for us. In Japan we currently service two clients (Danone, Reckitt Benckiser) and will soon be rolling out our Revenue Management solution to another multinational. In Mexico, BluePlanner has been deployed to Grupo Lala.

Mitch Kristofferson has joined UpClear as Client Success Director for APAC, based in Tokyo. 


Originally from California, Mitch has spent a total of 15 years of his career in Japan. He began in Sales at a multinational trading company in Tokyo. Since then, he has held sales and marketing leadership positions at software companies including SAP, Oracle, and DemandTec, a pioneer leveraging data science in the areas of price and promotion optimization (acquired by IBM). Mitch has BA and MBA degrees from Stanford University. 

Mitch will oversee the rollout of our BluePlanner Revenue Management solution to Kraft Heinz in Asia-Pacific, as well as servicing our existing clients in Japan.

Juan Gregg has joined us as Market Lead for Mexico, based in Mexico City. 

With almost 20 years of experience, Juan spent 10 years working with leading Consumer Goods companies in Mexico, including brands such as Nestle, Bacardi, and Coca-Cola in leadership roles for the marketingand commercial departments. From there, he shifted into technology, including working with DemandTec (price & promotion optimization software, acquired by IBM), and Telefonica. Juan holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management , and an MBA from IE Business School, Spain. 

Juan will oversee the rollout of BluePlanner with Grupo Lala, and engage on other current projects in Central & Latin America.
