UpClear Launches BluePlanner 4

We are excited to announce the official launch of BluePlanner 4 (BP4), the newest version of our Sales Planning, Trade Promotion Management, and Analytics solution. BP4 builds on existing functionality while adding distinct benefits for our worldwide user base such as:

Enhanced User Interface

BluePlanner 4 has a contemporary, content-focused look and feel that emphasizes the user experience and eliminates visual clutter. The biggest difference is our new homepage, which has been upgraded with many new features, such as quick links, a smart feed, and an interactive dashboard. For example, you could use quick links to bring up a promotion that you viewed in your last session through the history dropdown, subscribe to a recent activity to monitor when changes are made to your promotions, or switch to a dashboard view to see a visualization of KPIs such as trade spend vs. incremental volume vs. margin. This is just a subset of the features that we’ve added to make BP4 easier to use and more interactive.

Alerts and Notifications

Collaboration is critical when it comes to successful trade promotion management. Through our message board functionality, BluePlanner currently facilitates discussion by allowing users to share and follow promotions and payments. BluePlanner 4 goes a step further by adding alerts and notifications on promotion activities, specific business requirements, and upcoming events. Want to be alerted when a promotion budget is within 10% of the maximum budget?BP4 can be configured to display warning alerts or send email notifications to stakeholders.

Mobility

To better serve our users, we designed BluePlanner 4 to be mobile and tablet friendly. The first enhancement is the verticalview, which eliminates the need to scroll horizontally or zoom in to see small text on a mobile device. In addition, users can now choose to show or hide any content on the screen. As a result, BP4 allows the user to focus only on the relevant information, while granting the flexibility to switch views on demand.

Analytics and Trade Promotion Optimization

In addition to these features and UI enhancements, UpClear continues to invest in new features. BluePlanner 4 now features advanced analytics and integration with Trade Promotion Optimization
