During 2018, we continued to help Build Revenue Management Excellence for Consumer Goods companies. We engaged with a record number of new clients and worked on projects with companies from a range of industries, geographies, and sizes. We also expanded our team globally and received recognition for our ongoing focus on customer success.

In North America, we went live with a few clients in the United States and are engaged on multiple projects currently, including Vita Coco and Ferrero in Canada. We are also expanding to Mexico and prepared for deployment with several large producers.

“We see a large opportunity in North America from two groups of clients: “second generation TPM clients”, companies that are looking for more modern integrated systems, as well as smaller, fast growing manufacturers that are preparing themselves for the next stage of their growth. We have an exciting pipeline of projects lined up for 2019.” – Rajeev Prabhakar – Client Services Director – Americas

In Europe, we continued to increase our presence in multiple countries. In Germany, we initiated deployment with a major snack company, while in the United Kingdom, we began our full rollout with a major beverage manufacturer.

”The acquisition of new global clients in 2018 has contributed to further improving our unique expertise in multi-market roll outs while driving system enhancements required to address complex retail structures in countries such as Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Russia. This, on top of our ongoing collaboration with existing and new UK clients puts UpClear in a very strong position to further expand in EMEA next year.” – Gabriele Plate – Client Services Director – EMEA

Globally, we built more credibility with multinational projects, including:

  • Danone Early Life Nutrition – We deployed BluePlanner in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Ferrero – We completed deployment in the USA and UK and began a project in Canada.
  • Perfetti van Melle – We began our first rollout of 20+ planned markets in Russia.
  • Reckitt Benckiser – We went live with BluePlanner in Japan.

“We worked on several major projects this year, with the Japanese Reckitt Benckiser deployment particularly highlighting our ability to work with distributor pricing specific to the Japanese market. Our momentum continued with other clients, including Danone Early Life Nutrition in Australia and New Zealand. With this experience, the APAC team is now very well positioned and excited about our opportunities to better serve the region.” – Bevan Webb – Client Services Director – APAC

To support this and future projects, we opened our Paris office! Located in Marais, this new office will be an essential platform for expanding our reach and capabilities.

We were also excited to bring on several key team members, including Remy Delattre, Director of Solutions & Product Delivery, and Olivier Aboilard, Technology Architect.

We were proud to also receive recognition for our work: for the 3rd year, we were named (thanks to our clients) a Best in Class Vendor and Customer Satisfaction Leader in the Consumer Goods Technology Readers’ Choice awards. This continues to validate our customer-centric approach to development and support.

And for a 5th consecutive year, we were also listed on Inc. 5000’s ranking of the fastest growing private companies in the US. Thanks to our on-going client collaboration and innovation, we now work with over 55 Consumer Goods clients in more than 20 countries.

“This was again a busy year for us. Our global reach and team are unique in our space.

Beyond our client work, we have also made a lot of effort to further develop our scalability as a business and be ready for our next stage of growth, including internal processes and tools (business planning, resource planning, HR), support functions, and technology infrastructure. We would like to thank all our employees, clients, and partners for an incredibly successful year.

Wishing all the best for 2019!” – Thierry Soudee, Founder and CEO <\p>
