UpClear, a member of 1% for the Planet, is proud to support environmental education and youth leadership across borders. Since 2022, we have- through 1% for the Planet- supported For My Planet, a non-profit organization based in France dedicated to empowering young people to take action for the planet.
For My Planet takes teenagers on a scientific and ecological expedition to the heart of France’s national and regional parks. The participants are then challenged to set up an eco-citizen project in their school, their neighborhood and/or city. At the end of the year, these “Sentinels of the Environment” give presentations to recount, in their words, their mobilization for the planet. Thus, they become actors of change.
UpClear’s support helps expand the programs that bring environmental science and sustainability awareness into schools, inspire civic engagement, and foster a generation of eco-conscious leaders.
