Promotional guidelines are a key output of RGM processes, providing teams with rules on how to effectively promote products. In our latest release of BluePlanner, we’ve enhanced the approach to setting and tracking guideline compliance, Part of our Annual Operating Planning capabilities, our latest work integrates Guidelines into Scenario Planning In addition to the sales and profitability of a scenario, users can now immediately see the compliance of the scenario to guidelines. If a proposed promotion violates a guideline, the application provides clear, color-coded flagging, allowing the user to take appropriate action.
What is AI in BluePlanner? SmartAgents. Beginning in January, you’ll see alerts created by our SmartAgents to take steps to improve the integrity of customer plans. Initially, this will include agents checking master data. As time goes on, it will include agents looking at promotion workflows, guideline violations, deductions and accruals, promotion and forecast anomaly detection, and many, many other things.
A new even more flexible style of reporting is on its way to BluePlanner! Enable your teams to more effectively evaluate forecast accuracy and understand key shifts in performance drivers. These are specifically designed to support monthly and quarterly cross-functional performance reviews with standardized snapshot comparisons to track how projections and actuals have evolved over time. The new analytics also users to create on-demand extracts and data visualizations tailored for specific analyses. The creation of this new capability is part of UpClear’s strategic migration to the PowerBI platform.
