Vita Coco & UpClear: Quenching the Need for Customer Insights 

Since its founding in 2004, Vita Coco has grown into the world’s leading coconut water brand. Known for its commitment to clean hydration, sustainability, and social impact, the brand’s reach spans across the U.S. and international markets. 

Their mission isn’t just about health and wellness- it’s also about giving back. The Vita Coco Project supports coconut farming communities in Southeast Asia, helping the brand deliver on its promise of doing good while growing globally.  

With serious market momentum, Vita Coco needed the right tools and systems to ensure its trade investments were as efficient and impactful as its brand mission. 

In 2019, Vita Coco deployed BluePlanner TPM to standardize trade workflows, track spending with greater accuracy, and create clear, data-driven visibility into promotion performance. The Vita Coco / UpClear partnership is also an example of collaboration and client-focused innovation.  The organizations worked together to add new Direct Store Delivery (DSD) functionality to BluePlanner’s promotion planning.   

As Vita Coco continues to grow its portfolio and expand into new markets, UpClear remains committed to develop BluePlanner more capabilities so it remains a mission-critical tool for smarter planning, faster execution, and deeper insights.
