Integrated Business Planning

Integrated Business Planning creates a bridge between Sales and Demand Planning by building an input to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) consensus forecast that starts with your bottom-up plans.

Use the powerful, unified database of forecasts, actual sales, reporting, and dashboards created by BluePlanner to assist in the sales and operation planning (S&OP) process.  Alongside the bottom-up forecast created by account teams, BluePlanner creates a parallel forecast.  To this, adjustments can be added for dynamics not accounted for in the bottom-up plan.  The result is the sales team's input to the consensus forecast. 

IBP can also integrate other important data elements like a Demand Planning forecast and On Order volume.  These metrics are then incorporated into reporting for advanced analysis.  More broadly, it facilitates the ongoing collaboration across sales & supply chain teams to optimize volumes and deliver against overall business objectives.
