Diamond Foods Shapes Future with BluePlanner TPM

20230127 Diamond Nuts 2

Northern California-based Diamond Foods has begun the process of deploying UpClear BluePlanner Trade Promotion Management (TPM) for sales and promotion planning and management of trade spending and deductions.

Under the ownership of Blue Road Capital, the iconic 111-year-old nut producer is transforming its brand as consumers shift to incorporate more plant-based products in their diets. Part of that transformation is gaining efficiency in business processes, improving collaboration between functions, and increasing the depth and timeliness of data that provides visibility into performance and business results.

BluePlanner TPM is Software as a Service (SaaS) purpose-built for planning and execution of the sales process in Consumer Goods. With its adoption, Diamond Foods will add structure and control to their sales planning and deduction management processes. The structure of the data facilitates the availability of insights in both operational reporting and analytic dashboards. And, with a goal to automate as much as possible, BluePlanner integration capabilities — “Data Enablers” — will be used to create connections with other business systems to import and export data to/from the platform.

Continuing a trend that is an important success indicator for UpClear – repeat use- Diamond Foods team members have prior experience with the BluePlanner platform. We at UpClear are proud that their prior exposure to our product was positive and that they have the confidence in BluePlanner to apply it to their business.
