Retailers, Direct
You sell to the retailer and ship to their warehouses.
The most traditional use case in consumer goods. You ship directly to a retail customer’s warehouse, and they supply their stores. When the customer is a single banner/division/region, this is very straight forward. If it is a national account with multiple banners/divisions/regions, you determine if you want to plan at the “corporate” level or if promotion calendars differ in such a way that individual plans are warranted. BluePlanner is designed to plan sell-in (shipments) and sell-out (point of sale) and import actuals for time series reporting and post event analysis.
