Savor Success: BluePlanner Empowers Nissin’s Noodle Empire

UpClear has proudly worked with Nissin since 2022, when BluePlanner was chosen by the Nissin USA team to transform their sales planning and deduction management processes. Nissin, home to iconic instant noodle brands like Top Ramen, has a wide variety of products and flavors that nourish billions of people around the globe. Nissin has been in business for over 60 years and developed a strong presence in the U.S. in the 1970s. Nissin enlisted the help of UpClear to add structure, control, and analysis that wasn’t possible with prior processes and tools. .

Background

When selecting a TPM solution, user experience was an important factor for Nissin. U.S.-based teams need to be able to clearly plan sales and oversee deduction management processes. Another important capability for the noodle giant was the ability for a TPM solution to integrate data with a partner that was already involved in the deduction management process. It was crucial to seamlessly integrate data for full visibility across teams. Automation of data exchanges between these systems would ensure that deduction settlement and visibility to actual spending was as seamless and efficient as possible. 

Outcomes 

BluePlanner’s user-friendly interface provides teams across Nissin departments with access and visibility to centralized information, creating efficient workflows and enhancing productivity. After UpClear and Nissin teams worked together, the deployment of BluePlanner’s TPM solution has been completed, marking the first step towards enabling the noodle brand to meet their trade spend and deduction management goals.
