Introducing the Blue Customer Intelligence Platform

Now, we’re unveiling the next era of our technology: The Blue Customer Intelligence Platform. What’s changed? More than a year in the making, Blue is the result of 3 new dynamics and one long-standing competitive advantage that results in a set of solutions for CPG/FMCG vendors that we believe is difficult to match.

  • We start with the foundation: BluePlanner and the most complete edge case coverage of any SaaS Gross-to-Net RGM solution — built from 20 years of real customer complexity. We understand consumer goods and we’ve transformed our engineering model to be AI-led.
  • To our very extensive platform of capabilities, we’ve added AI and we’ve created all new functionality faster than ever before.
  • Apps are connected as part of the Blue ecosystem, buy you can also adopt individual capabilities and connect to your systems. And, some you can use stand-alone.
  • The goal is more effective Gross-to-Net RGM. All of these make UpClear a partner you can trust to address the complex business processes in consumer goods.

Let’s talk specifics with regard to AI:

  • Scenario Planning. Account scenarios use optimization agents to automatically create plans and simulate promotions. Orchestration agents move promotions to BluePlanner for execution.
  • Promo Guidelines. Promo mix, depth of discounts, and frequency guardrails are created with AI assistance.  Orchestration agents generate alerts to exceptions.
  • Funds. The redesigned Funds module uses orchestration agents to generate alerts to exceptions and workflow engine controls on status and approvals.
  • Risks & Opportunities. Our newest module is now enhanced with optimization agents to predict volume impact of price changes. 
  • Deduction Management. Automated acquisition and processing of remittances, deduction invoices, invoices, and carrier documentation. Automated alignment between documents and BluePlanner promotions for validation, closing or dispute.
  • DataStudio. Inevitably, data originating in different systems uses different structures. We use AI to create mappings that tie these different datasets together for use in Blue or any other system where this is needed.
